Passig Islet Aqua-Eco Park Resort

Passig Islet Aqua-Eco Park Resort. What used to be a barren islet off Baranggay Bato in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur has been turned into a beach resort. Officially called the Passig Islet Aqua-Eco Park Resort. Forget about natural state of things - this is all about an islet that has been turned to look like an island with swaying palm trees. So coconut trees were planted, cottages were erected and old tires ringed portions of the islet to prevent sand erosion.

This islet once become the base of the coastguard and even a hang out place of the locals way back few years ago until the provincial government has seen the potential of this small island to become an aqua eco-park tourist attraction.

To complement the beauty of the islet and to package it as a tourist destination, several amenities and features are put up to enhance a relaxing mood and a taste of beach leisure. The palm and tropical trees were aligned just right adding beauty on the place.

Entrance fee costs only 15Php while the cottage ranges from 150Php up to 250Php. You will really need to rent cottage to protect your things from the strong winds.


Relax yourself from the hassle of the city and spend some quality time just enjoying the tranquility of the place. This is a place worth visiting for.

Madayaw Beach Resort

Madayaw Beach Resort is just one of the options on where to stay overnight at Canibad Beach in Sitio Audanao, Samal City. Canibad can be reached via a bumpy habal-habal ride either from Kaputian Port or Penaplata Bus Terminal. The road can, somehow, be tolerated by lower body vehicles so if you plan to bring your own "tsikot", Canibad is accessible. There's no problem at all, for bigger 4WD vehicles.
